Haha -- well sort of -- we were missing part of the family, but Erin, Chris, Dad and I went to Rochester to go and watch the second to last day of the showing of "Star Wars, Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith" -- so we are a bit of the procrastinating family:-) Now I'm not into the "Star Wars" sixology -- or whatever -- as my little brother Chris, but I did find this movie quite interesting. With my common knowledge of "Star Wars" I still got the whole movie and was saddened to see very cute Hayden Christiansen go over to the dark side. And Anakin Skywalker was such an adorable child too -- to think that he became Darth Vader just fascinated me enough that I went with the father and the twins to see it. Classic Greek tragedy found in the blockbuster: a person of power (Anakin) usually receives a prophesy and when trying to avoid the future actually causes it due to character traits like pride, anger, etc. etc. where they in the end are solely responsible for their decline. I felt sorry for him when they slapped the black mask and the "Luke...krrr...I am...krrr...your...father" breathing started.
Good movie -- might have to watch all of them some day when I'm bored.
Taught me something too -- lol -- we all have a destiny to fulfill and it may not be fulfilled in the easiest or most tred path, but it will be fulfilled. Also -- no believing in prophesies:-)
